This series of Klara demonstrates how a set of photos taken for one purpose might be useless, but for another (our purpose) they're really quite interesting. If I were doing a fashion shoot or a portrait session and the model had a frozen expression as you'll see at the start of this set, the photos would be tossed out. But as I've said before, I often find that the awkward expressions I capture as the model takes off her clothes can add a level of eroticism to the session that otherwise would be missing. If you look closely at Klara's face you'll see she's either nervous or just unsure of what to do. There may be a hesitancy, or perhaps some anticipation in her mind. This was our first shoot together, and her first nude modeling experience, so it did take some coaxing to get her to relax. Even so, I just love that fixed, thoughtful gaze, reminding us that this might be a very sexual situation for her, - and in the end, you'll notice she actually seems much more at ease totally naked. Win, win!
