New Gallery: 07-03-09 Amber - C3 Here's a lovely set of photographs from my third session with local California model, Amber. Since this shoot, we've worked together on over a dozen LSG sessions, and several of my nude workshops. She's a pleasure to work with, and just as nice in person as she appears in pics. She'll be back in the studio again on August 9, for another workshop (click here for more info) and we'll have another set of images to show after that. |

06-26-09 I've just received some sample copies of the new Goliath book, Best of Bondage. Unfortunately, I don't have copies to sell, but it's now up on Amazon.com The book contains generous collections of the work of 9 photographers: Josef Botello, Martin Class, Lee Higgs, Roman Kasperski, Midori, Craig Morey, Dave Naz, Steven Speliotis, and Laura Stansfield. 06-18-09 Today's gallery is of a petite and mysterious visitor from the Far East. Xuan-Vy is not quite 5 ft tall, and had never been photographed nude (let alone in the explicit poses you'll see here) but she quickly picked up the essentials of modeling. I have a few more sessions with her scheduled, and she was also shown as the specially "wrapped" Christmas Girl over at LSG. |

06-03-09 This series of Greek model Adriana could not be simpler. Shot with natural light, in the LSG Prague studio, the photos have that soft romantic look of a classic painter's canvas. I love the slow transition in this series, from clothed to nude - I'd suggest using the gallery "next" arrow buttons to follow this series in chronological order, and to get the full effect. 05-27-09 Keira has been a member favorite over at LSG, so I thought you'd enjoy seeing a bit more of her here as well. This is a series shot in their Prague apartment, with the emphasis (obviously) on her natural and abundant sex appeal. There are a few fairly explicit shots in this group, so be forewarned. 05-20-09 Back from a week in Prague - there will be lots of new faces to enjoy soon over at LSG. (a link to their sneak previews coming soon.) In the meantime, here's a gallery from one of my Penthouse shoots, done for the Studio Nudes series. I found Brittany dancing at the O'Farrell Theater in San Francisco - a beautiful petite Japanese girl who had never been in a photo studio before. She would only pose if her two girlfriends were also invited, so I had three models that day. (Photos from her friends' sessions coming later.) |

05-12-09 Today's gallery is a bit more classical than some of the sessions in the past few weeks. Cassandra wears no make-up and I've deliberately left her skin unretouched. The clothing is just what she wore to the studio that day: jeans, t-shirt, and regular girly underwear. I find it refreshing to see the "real" girl, regardless of blemishes and flaws. I think it almost always creates a much more erotic ambiance to the photos. The day we shot this series, it was rather warm in the studio, and you can still see the soft glow of moisture on her skin - also very sexy... (See more at LSGmodels.com) |

04-26-09 From an early LSG assignment in Prague - Bente is one of my favorites of the Czech models. Obviously attractive, and with a quiet demeanor, she was very easy to work with, even with little understanding of English. We shot her for about a dozen sessions, more than any of the others. In between sets, Bente could be found sitting on the couch burried in her college text books. By now, she may have that law dregree she was studying for. (More of Bente at LSG) |

04-09-09 I shot this rather explicit series of Kymberly for LSG in the natural light of my studio in Oakland. The window light works perfectly with the effect of the soft pink blanket and loose summer dress. I'm beginning to favor diffused natural light over strobes, although it requires much metering and a steady hand - which I must admit is not always easy with a model like Kymberly... This gallery of photos is from one of my last shoots for Penthouse. These are from Hasselblad 120mm negative originals, so they have a different look than current digital images. The Penthouse assignments were geared toward creating a magazine spread of 4 to 6 pages, so what you'll see here are the best images submitted to the photo editor, and not necessarily what they published in the magazine. |

03-23-09 This is the third appearance of Mina from Prague. I shot this model during an intense week of work in the Czech Republic, with the London Studio Group, for LSGmodels.com We worked for 10 days, shooting 3 or 4 models per day, so my memory of most of them has faded - but Mina was unforgettable. She has a classic, natural beauty that shines through whether she's all made up or just out of the shower. (btw, this series contains some rather explicit photos, so you've been warned...) |

Today's gallery is a reprocessing of one of my Bangkok shoots. I've just begun scanning my black & white negs of this girl, which will be appearing soon - but in the meantime, I thought we'd revisit this series from my first Thai trip using a digital camera. This model exemplifies the whole Thai experience for me. I've purposely put up a number of portrait shots, to give a better idea of the qualities that I think are apparent in her face: vulnerability, sexuality, uncertainty, curiosity, seduction, innocence... I could go on. You can almost see her growing from a young girl into a woman, during the photo session |

03-08-09 Ladies and Gentlemen, may I present "The Illustrated Woman" - a gorgeous young female person with luscious ruby lips, large dreamy eyes and a seemingly random assortment of words, phrases, names, logos, icons, animals and flowers tattooed all over her lovely body. I must confess I'm not a fan of tattoos, but I could not resist the chance to photograph sweet Micaela. Before you judge her too harshly, just take a look at some of these shots, and I think you may forgive her ink habit. 03-01-09 Priska was just 18 when we shot this session in Portland, OR. You'll see she starts out rather timid, but adjusts nicely to the role of "sexy siren" by the end. Notes: During my early years of working for Penthouse, I was shooting almost exclusively with black and white film. I always loved the look of the negatives, the proofs, and the prints. I still have an affection for that old school process, but as I was working with these images of Priska, I realized how much more versatile the new digital technology can be. I was able to recover a number of fantastic shots from this series that have never been shown before, due to simple tools in Photoshop. (defects in the film had made them unprintable) |

02-22-09 This series of Gisele (brunette) and Klara (blond) was made on the first LSG shooting expedition to Prague. We had a small cramped and very hot studio, but managed to do some simple, elegant images with just a seamless backdrop and some gorgeous Czech models. These two girls were also part of the Normandy trip in 2006. |

02-07-09 Liz Ashley joins us again for some sexy shots and seductive looks. She's become one of the most popular new models over at LSG, and it's easy to see why. There are few models I've worked with who have a more natural presence in front of the camera - and a more perfect face and body for glamour photography. The only difficult part of working with Liz is the length of the shoots - I just don't want to stop, so I end up exhausting myself. But I'm not complaining... |

01-31-09 Candy returns for a photo session on the studio couch - a bit less arty, and a bit more sexy.I like this model for her natural look and versatility. There are no forced expressions, no false smiles, and she's as attractive here as in my more staged studio sessions.This scenario involves a soft pink blanket and some lotion, and I think you'll be able to tell it was a fun shoot. 01-16-09 Sometimes we dispense with all the make-up and styling and just shoot a model as is. Suzie has a beautiful natural look - great red hair, pale white skin and a flushed ruddy complexion - not to mention her very sexy whispy ginger pubic hair I think this set of photos is quite provocative , simply because she has no pretense, and just slips out of her clothes naturally (with, of course, a few glances at the camera). 12-31-08 At the request of a number of print collectors, here's another gallery of classic b&w shots from my work for Penthouse, a few years ago...Stone was 19 at the time and had never done professional photos before, which was true for most of the girls I worked with in those days. 11-22-08 Laura was taking a cigarette break between shooting sessions and, as much as your photographer hates to see a young girl developing bad habits, he had to admit that the situation presented some obvious erotic overtones. So... here's a rather candid series of this girl, in a Prague apartment, half dressed, half smoking and half posing for the camera. Very sexy... I've included a few explicit shots from the session that immediately followed. For those who enjoy this sort of thing, both full sets, and qute a bit more are up now at LSG. |

11-15-08 You may recognize the hotel background in this set of images from a Bangkok shoot a few years back. It's the same room used with Jet in our 10-07 update. These are best described as nude portraits, rather than an erotic fantasy. The Thai girls were not at all used to professional cameras or to posing as "models". The shots therefore are sometimes more revealing and compelling than, for instance, the photos from a typical hot session with one of the Eastern European fashion models. My personal picks among these photos would be the series from #757 to #767 - the overall feeling of looking at those is pretty close to what it felt like to be there shooting her. |

11-08-08 Liz is another former Playboy model who works a lot in fine art workshops and glamour shoots all across the country. I have several sessions with her, coming in the near future. I considered presenting today's extra large gallery in black & white, but then the luscious creamy tones of her near perfect skin would have been lost. I encourage you to take a long look at some of the portrait shots just to properly enjoy those eyes and lips. Of course, my guess is that most of you will get lost in some of the other photos... She's a natural blonde beauty from head to toe, including that currently illusive attribute we see so little of these days - full bushy pubic hair. To see even more of Liz, check the LSG site. |

11-01-08 Today's session with Mia is from the now legendary week-long adventure in the Normany countryside with the London Studio Group. We had Mia and six other Czech beauties for seven days and nights in a huge French chateau, and the surrounding fields and forrests. This gallery of images was shot on one of our final afternoons, in the large dining room. It's easy to see that Mia has warmed up to the experience and is extra Hot for the camera. I've got a couple other sets of Mia here, and there are hundreds more shots of her over at LSG |

10-23-08 I shot Cassandra for LSGmodels.com, using my traditional canvas backdrop. The sets of her posted on LSG are all in color, but I chose to do this one in black & white. She's worked with Playboy in LA, and I think you'll agree she's got the perfect body for it. I have 4 very nice sets of this model, so we'll probably see her again here. 10-15-08 Today's gallery comes from a series of sessions I call the "White House Nudes" - shot over the course of several years in a big white mansion in the San Francisco hills. The models were non-professionals, although certainly not shy about their bodies. Athena was one of the more adventurous ones, with her own equipment and toys. As you'll see, these images are a bit different from my recent color work in Europe - primarily due to the fact that I was still shooting film and using the old faithful Hasselblad. |

10-07-08 One of my first shoots using a digital camera was back in early 2002, in Bangkok. Some of these sessions have already been posted here in the Archive, and others are now being revamped to suit the new format -such as this one of 18 yr old Jet. I photographed about a dozen "models" on each of three trips to Thailand. I hesitate to use the word "models" since these girls had never posed for professional photos before, and had very little notion of art or eroticism. You may be able to see, in the progression of the session, how Jet goes from being timid, to more confident, and then to having a fun time. I'll post a few more of these in the coming weeks, and I think you'll see a similar transformation with each girl. |

9-29-08 Here's an uncharacteristically (for me) candid series of Laura at a recent shoot in Prague - starting with some shots done within minutes of her arrival, removing her street clothes. The second part was done as she shaved in the shower. In both cases I think you'll note a refreshing break from the usual blatant erotica, in favor of a more intimate and "real" sensuality. 9-18-08 A woman with a body like Domino's presents an interesting problem for the photographer. One assumes that large breasts and a pretty face will practically create the photos on their own. On the contrary, I find shooting this type of model to be much more difficult than working with a "normal" size figure. Take a look at the variety of the poses we tried in this session and I think you'll see that only a few of them result in truly successful images - although if this is your preference in body types, I'm sure you'll find them all quite erotic. 9-10-08 Here's another session with Christelle shot on my original canvas backdrop. You'll notice a difference in color compared to last week's set of Heather. This is due to using a different "white balance" setting in the camera. I like both the cool and the warm tones resulting from this adjustment - in truth neither is exactly accurate in rendering the real backdrop color, but what matters most to me is the final impact of the images. 9-04-08 I normally tend to stay away from props, especially hats, but for some reason this bizarre chapeau she brought to the studio seemed to fit with her wardrobe, and with our mood, so we shot without removing it the whole afternoon. I got to use one of my favorite Randy Newman lines: "You can leave your hat on." (More sets of Heather at LSG.) |

8-25-08 These two models were a joy to work with, and had a lot of fun doing this semi-bondage shoot in Prague. Wildy has worked with me several times, and is very popular here and on LSG. 8-16-08 I'd have to say that Mina is one of the most beautiful women I've photographed in my 30+ year career. The simple clean symmetry of her face, the satisfying proportions of her body, the calm yet intense eyes - they all add up to a perfect 10. I've included several very revealing nudes in this gallery, but I'd direct your attention as well to some of the portraits. Shots #7634 thru #7659 are my personal favorites. 7-30-08 Come along on a photo safari as the photographer attempts to focus a new 400mm Nikon VR lens. This exercise contains a few artsy fuzzy pictures, but eventually results in some sharp images - and in any case the journey is quite pleasant, as we track lovely Ronni strolling down a sunlit forest path in the Normandy countryside. 7-20-08 Charlie started as a teen fashion model, and is now primarily a glamour model working in England, France and the Czech Republic. She has a look of maturity, and a few lines and wrinkles that I suspect will come as a welcome addition for some of the Archive membership. I shot this session in the LSG apartment in Prague, using only soft window light, so you'll notice a soft grainy effect in some of the photos. (Note: This set includes a few explicit shots. 7-12-08 This is a series of shots done on my original old canvas backrop, which I still love to use from time to time. Keira is not the classic figure model, nor is she rail thin like some of the Prague fashion models - she's just refreshingly round and natural, and also refreshingly awkward as she takes off clothes and strikes poses - a quality I often find more appealing and in a way more erotic than the models who seem to know what they're doing. (BTW, don't confuse this Keira with Keira K - both lovely in their own way, but obv. totally different models - more of both Keiras can be found on LSG) |

7-03-08 Here is the remainder of Adriana's first photo session - a series of candid shots showing her shaving on set in front of a vanity mirror. I liked the combination of innocence, sexiness and matter-of-fact pragmatism in this series. Rather than thinking about how she was going to look on camera, she really got totally involved in the task of shaving - giving us, the viewers, that tantalizing feeling of observing an intimate act.
